Values Through Action.
I am an experienced classroom practitioner and martial artist, holding a 2nd Dan Black Belt in Shotokan Karate, as well as having years of experience in training and teaching Pak Mei Kung Fu.
With a wealth of practical experience gained as a primary school teacher, karate club owner and instructor, I understand the changing needs and expectations of the modern classroom and pupils. I began to learn martial arts in 1989, have taught karate and kung fu to children and adults of all ages, and gained my Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in 2005.
Values Through Action has been created as a vehicle to teach Values in an active way, based on traditional principles taught through karate to develop life skills such as respect, trust, courage and others. Through our sessions we also incorporate mindfulness and breathing techniques to help develop and promote a healthy mind and body.
